1. Last night was the first performance of the play that Darling Daughter's been rehearsing in her 2-week summer drama camp. The play was Blame It on the Wolf, by Douglas Love. 1. Very busy at church today. As the prelude, the choir sang an uptempo gospel-ish song called SUNSHINE IN MY SOUL, which we've been working on for weeks, and it turned out very well. Whew. 1. Today is Mardi Gras in New Orleans and various other places (aka Mawdi Graw to the locals). We got a wonderful surprise via UPS yesterday - a king cake from Haydel's Bakery in Metairie, courtesy of my dad. Thank you, Daddy!!
